Due to the very heavy rainfall in recent days, particularly on the night of Saturday 14th Nov, when we experienced over 14 hours of continuous heavy rain, the course has come through it remarkably well.  All drains are working well, some to full capacity.  This bodes well for the rest of the winter in helping us to keep course closures to an absolute minimum.

Following feedback from members regarding the temporary green position on the 17th hole, we will be preparing, over the next 2 weeks a new temporary green on 17th hole which we will inform you when it is in operation.

Can I please remind members again, that if you have to remove any of the traffic control measures around the course please replace them to their original positions.

It was once again come to our attention that crows are stealing balls on a number of holes, which I am informed is mainly the 3rd and 15th.  The greenstaff will be hitting balls on the affected holes and as the crows attempt to steal the balls, we will be letting off crow scarer bangers.  We hope this acts as a deterrent for future thefts!
