Do you know of anyone at home, within your family or even at work who might be interested in taking up golf, either as a beginner or as someone who has played the game before and wants to take it up again?

In an attempt to increase the number of lady members at Prestonfield, our ladies committee are organising a ‘Get Into Golf’ Open Day on Sunday 18th March in the hope of attracting new lady members.

The aim is to invite ladies who are interested in taking up the game so if you know someone who fits the bill, we would really appreciate it if you could pass on the attached flyer and ask them to book their place and join us at our ‘Get Into Golf Open Day’ on 18th March.

The afternoon will be relaxed and informal and an opportunity to find out lots of information about the benefits of being a member at our club. There will be short video presentations, an introduction chat about coaching from Scott Clark our Director of Golf and a short & fun taster golfing session at the practice area and putting green, all of which will be rounded off with tea/coffee and cream scones. There will also be an opportunity to purchase some affordable ladies fashion accessories from retailer Designers-Direct. All of this for a small charge of £5.00, redeemable with any purchase on the day.

Perhaps you are a member of a sports club or community club where potential members also attend and where flyers can be left. Let me know and we will arrange for you to get a small supply. We are hopeful of a sell-out day and anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions, just drop me an email.
Many thanks,
Liam McLaughlan
