The green staff finally managed to get the Spring aeration and top-dressing underway this week, but with the return of wet weather this is once again hampered these operations.

We have received the first of our STRI course inspections this week and we await the result of their findings.

Sadly the horse chestnut tree at the side of 16th tee was found to be rotten in the canopy and it will have to be felled on the grounds of safety.  We will do our upmost to make sure this work doesn’t disrupt any play as much as possible.

The putting green has received it’s spring aeration and top-dressing and will open as soon as possible.
