The recent heavy wet weather days has again proven the benefit of a good fairway drainage system with the fairways coping very well with the high rainfall we experienced this week.  However, the greens have had a mixed reaction with most coping very well with only 2 or 3 holding surface water.  The upside to this has been many of the droughted and burnt areas around the course are now showing the green shoots of recover, with many members passing comment to the staff about this rapid improvement.

Best of luck to all those playing in their relevant championship sections from the greenstaff.
