With the return of more settled weather we have completed our micro-tyning, top-dressing of the 5t green.  The green is showing considerable improvement in the reduction of the thatch layer and we hope to provide photographic confirmation to support this in the next course newsletter.  Also with the return of the aforementioned summer weather we have now returned to vibro-rolling the greens 4 times a week, this has resulted in the green speed returning to 10.5 on the stimp meter.  We hope to continue this for the remainder of the summer golfing season.

The fairways continue to improve dramatically since their selective weed killing at the beginning of June, with many favourable comments being passed to the green staff from members and visitors alike.
