The greens have now received their final in-season top-dressing which we have managed to carry out in between the rain showers.

We received our annual visit from our advisory agronomist from STRI on Tuesday 2nd August and look forward to his upcoming report, although he advised on the day that all greens should receive a surfactant (wetting agent) as soon as possible, which we hope to carry out next week.

A few members have mentioned a mottling appearance on the edge of the 14th green, this was caused by a few stray granules of fertilizer whilst fertilizing the apron/approach and will soon disappear.

We have received a delivery of bunker sand as a few of the more frequently visited bunkers now require a mid-season top-up, which will be carried out as soon as possible.

Thanks
