The recent wet weather has been hampering our course preparation and causing some parts of the course to be unseasonably soft. This has also delayed the start of the Spring aeration and top-dressing programme.  The longer this  delay continues due to the weather, we will regrettably have to be carry out the programme when the competition season is underway, members patience and understanding will be much appreciated.

We have now re-built the rear of the 13th tee and managed to gain some extra teeing area.  We have also re-turfed the medal tee to facilitate a good grass coverage for the upcoming season, however we don’t anticipate playing off this area before mid-may.

The recent drainage work has proven to be very successful during the recent wet weather.
